  1. The best resource I found for this book was at katechopin.org (http://www.katechopin.org/the-awakening.shtml. It includes information on the author, time and setting, characters, and themes in the book. Also it has discussion question with full answers.

This source gives descriptions of the entire book, themes, characters, author, summaries of individual chapters and more. I feel as though if I am stuck on anything, this website will be very helpful.

This source provides questions divided by chapter. The questions are more specific and focus on details of events or characters in the novel. I consider this a very helpful source because of the amount of detail it offers in each question and the set up of chapter by chapter questions.

This is the best resource I found for the novel. It gives a lot of great background information on the author, as well as the time period set for The Awakening. Also, it gives others interpretations and opinions of the story. This is very helpful to look at before you start reading.

This was the best website I found. It is the same base website as Anna earlier mentioned however this specific link is to the author's biography and background information. It is very helpful when trying to get perspective on where the author is coming from. It also is helpful in the analysis of the book.
